Sharing lessons on greenwashing and climate reporting
Join us for a lunchtime webinar where experienced in-house lawyers share their top five lessons on tackling greenwashing and climate reporting challenges.
Unlike theory-heavy sessions, we'll bring you real-world insights from Juno Lawyers who have worked through these issues across a range of industries. They’ll share what worked (and maybe what didn’t!) and what you need to know to navigate greenwashing and climate reporting with confidence. Expect practical advice, relatable examples, and strategies you can apply immediately.
We've designed this session with in-house lawyers, legal teams, and governance professionals in mind - those who are advising boards, and those who adapt to their decisions.
What you’ll gain:
Practical steps to identify and manage greenwashing risks.
Strategies for aligning climate reporting with governance.
Understanding the broader impacts of greenwashing, like policy changes.
All registrants will receive a recording, so if this time doesn't suit you, you can catch up or share at a time that does.
Speakers
Deb Blacketthas decades of in-house experience and governance expertise, navigating the complexities of ESG and climate reporting, including leading Z Energy’s 2024 Climate-Related Financial Disclosure.
When asked what drives her passion for helping organisations navigate ESG and climate reporting challenges, she explains: 'Businesses must exercise their power and impact to be “good” people by considering the environment, social impact, and governance. Climate change is an existential issue, and transparent reporting is a key step in driving meaningful action."
Sarah Graydon is an experienced in-house legal leader and independent director who, in her words, is grappling with climate change issues in both legal and governance roles.
When asked why sharing experiences and lessons learned is important, she reflects: "The regulatory and governance responses to climate change are complex and fast changing. Sharing experience and lessons learnt is a vital part of making progress in this critical area."
Estée Tan is a seasoned legal advisor specialising in energy, infrastructure, and climate litigation, with a sharp focus on managing greenwashing claims.
When asked what inspired her to focus on greenwashing and climate litigation, she shares: "Supporting energy and infrastructure clients naturally led me to climate-related legal work, but this area is also part of a much bigger conversation. It’s dynamic, sometimes divisive, and will remain relevant for years to come."
